Job Description:
The Hooper / Barge Master will be responsible for supervising and operating barge or hopper-related activities in marine, port, or construction environments. The role includes ensuring safe operations, coordinating with crew members, and maintaining proper workflow on board.
Main Duties:
• Supervise barge or hopper operations
• Coordinate loading, unloading, and movement activities
• Ensure compliance with maritime and safety procedures
• Communicate with crew, port teams, and supervisors
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs
• Maintain safe working conditions on board
Requirements:
• Previous experience in barge, hopper, or marine operations
• Good understanding of marine safety procedures
• Leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a maritime environment
• English communication skills are an advantage
• Valid passport required
